Orange level weather warnings are issued for weather conditions which have the capacity to impact significantly on people in the affected areas. The issue of an Orange level weather warning implies that all recipients in the affected areas should prepare themselves in an appropriate way for the anticipated conditions.

Homeowners should clear any furniture or loose items from the garden to prevent loose debris from smashing windows.

Motorists are advised to avoid travel where possible for the duration of the storm (expected to be 9pm Saturday - noon Sunday) and to drive with caution and watch out for fallen debris when on the road.
