Storm Dylan is due to hit Connacht and Ulster on Saturday night and Met Éireann has issued an Orange Weather Warning for 12 counties, including County Cavan, with gusts of 110 to 125 km/hr expected.

Motorists are advised to avoid travel where possible for the duration of the storm (expected to be 9pm Saturday - noon Sunday) and to drive with caution and watch out for fallen debris when on the road.
