Road Closure - R205 Derrylin Rd

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

The R-205 (locally known as Derrylin Road) will be closed from its junction with the L-1063 (locally known as Ballyconnell Relief Road) to its connecting location with the B 127 in the townland of Gortawee or Scotchtown from Wednesday, 22 July at 8am until Friday, 14 August 2020 at 6pm for the purposes of road resurfacing works.  

 

Alternative routes: 

Northbound – From L-1063 (Ballyconnell Relief Road) travel east via N-87 to Staghall (Belturbet) Roundabout, then north via N-03 / A 509 to Derrylin, then south-west via B 127 (Ballyconnell Road) to its connecting location with the R-205. End of detour. 

Southbound – The same route in reverse will apply to southbound traffic. 

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works. Local access only to businesses and residences will be accommodated as far as possible.
