Extension of Road closure - R194 Dunancory Bridge

A road closure will now be in effect on the R194 at Dunancory Bridge until 5pm on Saturday, 14th November (weekends inclusive)

Owing to prevailing ground conditions and health and safety reasons, Cavan County Council requires the extension of the road closure at Dunancory Bridge until 5pm on Saturday, 14th November (weekends inclusive).

Cyclist and pedestrian crossings will be accommodated where possible.

Cavan County Council regrets any inconvenience caused.

Diversions

Diversions will be (Westbound) via the N3 at Virginia town, via the R196 at New Inn, and via the R196 to the junction with the R194 in Ballyjamesduff town, with the same route applying in reverse for eastbound traffic.
