Cavan SPCA

Cavan Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is a small group of volunteers who work throughout county Cavan, investigating animal welfare, complaints of cruelty, neglect and abuse.

Cavan SPCA are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the entire year. We rescue, care, spay and neuter and provide veterinary treatment when necessary before finding suitable new homes for the animals we take in.

As Cavan SPCA do not have shelter facilities they rely on some of their members to take the animals into their own homes until suitable new homes can be found for them.
