Speaking over the weekend, Mayor Cullen said it is “important to continue to build on the connections between the two towns” and that Cavan should “take every opportunity to promote itself to an international audience”. He added he was “particularly pleased that for the fifth time Cavan was participating in the Jaunay Clan Food and Wine Faire” and that for the local Cavan food producers, such as Corlegy Cheese and Barry Johns Sausages who participated in the Faire, it was an opportunity to show case the quality of Cavan’s food products”.
