Flood management

Flooding is increasingly becoming more common in Ireland and with this in mind, the Office of Public Works has setup two informative websites which provide information about flooding and what you can do to be prepared.

Flooding information

The following website provides information about how you can prepare yourself in the event of a flood and the help that you can receive if you become a victim of flooding.

Flood hazard maps

The flood hazard maps from the Office of Public Works, graphically show information on areas that may be at risk from flooding.

They can provide useful information for planners and the public in order to make decisions on the use of land and it's development.
