Lifting of Belturbet Public Water Supply Do Not Consume Notice

Following consultation with the Health Service Executive, Cavan County Council and Irish Water are lifting the do not consume notice impacting customers supplied by Belturbet Public Water Supply with immediate effect.

Irish Water and Cavan County Council wishes to notify customers on the Belturbet Public Water Supply that following consultation with the Health Service Executive, that the do not consume notice imposed on the supply is now lifted.

All consumers on the Belturbet Public Water Supply can now resume normal use of the water supply for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth. 

Irish Water, Cavan County Council and the Health Service Executive Water Liaison Group will continue to meet and will review ongoing process control, monitoring and testing of the drinking water supply.
