Cavan Calling Grant Scheme

Twenty-seven community and voluntary organisations across County Cavan have received grant aid from Cavan County Council to deliver events in support of the Cavan Calling homecoming festival this summer. Find out more here.

Kingspan Breffni 100

Coinciding with Cavan Calling, Cavan GAA is hosting a celebration of the stadium’s centennial anniversary. Celebratory events, highlighting both sporting achievements and the community of people who call the stadium home, will run from 25th – 29th July 2023.

This centennial milestone is an opportunity for Cavan GAA and the wider community to come together to celebrate the stadium’s legacy, highlighting how it has played such an important role in the lives of Cavan people.

As part of both celebrations, an Ecumenical Service taking place in the Cathedral of St. Patrick and St Felim on Saturday 29th July at 11 a.m. After the Ecumenical Service, there will be a parade of Cavan's GAA clubs through the town to Kingspan Breffni. Each club will be led by their club banner. Following the parade, there will be under 13 football blitz.
