The Cavan County Council Arts Awards

The Arts Awards are Cavan County Council’s annual funding scheme to support the ongoing development of artists and audiences in County Cavan. This year’s awards will open on Thursday, 11 December.

The following awards are on offer for 2026:

Cavan Arts Bursary Award
Cavan Arts Project Award
Cavan Arts Festival and Events Award 2026
Moth Studio Space Awards

The Townhall Studio Residency, Culture and Health Grant Award and Artist Workspace Scheme will open January-March 2026.

Artists of all levels, organisations, groups, or individuals running arts events and projects in County Cavan or promoting the County arts offerings elsewhere between February 2026 and December 2026 are eligible to apply.

Please note these awards do not support charitable fundraising events.

Forms will be available on www.cavanarts.ie and the closing date for completed applications is 8pm on Wednesday, 21st January 2026.

Late applications will not be accepted.
