Emergency Road Closure - L-1049 Corran Rd

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the road described hereunder on Monday, 16th February 2026 and again on Wednesday, 18th February 2026, from 8am to 6pm each dayfor the purposes of Civil Works.

Road closed:

L-1049 (Locally known as Corran Road) from its junction on the R205 to its endpoint to the R199 for a distance of 5,000 metres southwards.

Local access will be accommodated where practicable.
