Emergency Road Closure – L-2533-0 Abbey Street, Cavan

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the road described hereunder each night Monday 11th May and Tuesday 12th May from 7pm until 7am the following morning for the purposes of Civil Works.

Road closed

• L-2533-0 Abbey Street, Cavan from its junction with the R-212-3/Farnham Street to its junction with the L-2536-0 & the L-2532-0 (Abbey Street/Bridge Street junction).

Alternative Route

• Southbound: R-212-3 (Farnham Street) to L-2534-0 (Town Hall Street) to R-901-0 (Main Street) to L-2532-0 (Bridge Street).
• Northbound: L-2532-0 (Bridge Street) to R-212-3 (Coleman Road) to R-212-3 (Farnham Street).

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.

Local access will be accommodated where practicable.
