Proposed Road Closure - L-6146 Chapel Lane, Cootehill

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council intends to close to public traffic the roads described here under on Monday 11th May 2026 until Friday 29th May 2026 to facilitate the installation of a new Water Main in the townland of Magheranure, Cootehill.

Roads Closed

Localised section of L-6146 Chapel Lane, Cootehill between R-188 Bridge Street/Monaghan Road and L-6152 at the health centre.

Alternative Routes

Diversion via R-188 Bridge Street / Monaghan road, Via L-6152 Cooney’s row to Health centre and vice versa.

Local access only will be accommodated.
