Emergency Road Closure, L3009

Temporary closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Roads Regulations 1994

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council needs to close to public traffic, the road described hereunder from 1st of September to the 11th September 2026 between the hours 8am to 5:30pm for the purpose of emergency surfacing works.

L3009 Cross (Crossreagh) to Gates of Mullagh

Alternative Route

From the crossroads junction of the L3009, L3008, L7039 & L7040 at Cross (Crossreagh), divert via L7040 to Cloghergoole Crossroads, and the R194-1 to Gates of Mullagh.

The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Local access will be accommodated where possible.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.
