Emergency Road Closure – L6619 Carrick to Carrickakille

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council is closing to public traffic, the road described hereunder for 1 day, on Monday 20th April 2026 between the hours 9am to 4pm for the purpose of emergency drainage works.

L6619 (Carrickakillew) from its junction with the R194 at Carrick to the junction with the R394 at (Carrickakillew)

Alternative Route

From Carrick, divert via R194 to Bracklagh junction, and R394 to Carrickakillew.

The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Local access will be accommodated where possible.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.
