Temporary Road Closure, L7023, Termon Bridge

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic and pedestrians, the roads described hereunder from Tuesday 4^th August to Friday 28^th August 2026, 8am–5pm, for the purpose of Bridge Rehabilitation works at Termon Bridge.

Roads Closed

• Local road L7023 from its junctions with the L3539 & L3543

Alternative Route

• Traffic travelling on the L7024 wishing to use the L7023 will be diverted onto the L3027 travelling north and then onto the L3546, then onto the L7596 and back onto the L7023.
• Traffic travelling west on the L7596 wishing to use the L7023 will be diverted to carry on the L7596 and then turn South West onto the L3006, then onto the L3007, then onto the L3028, then onto the L7024 and back onto the L7023.

Local traffic in the area will be accommodated as much as possible but there will no through road at Termon Bridge.
