Road Closure - L-6550 Woteraghy Mill Bridge

The L-6550 will be closed from its junction with the L6551 and L6549 from 8am on Monday, 3 July to 6pm on Saturday, 29 July 2023 for the purpose of bridge rehabilitation works at Woteraghy Mill Bridge.

Roads closed: 

Local road L-6550 from its junctions with the L6551 and L6549. Local access will be maintained where possible. Private residences on the L6550 will have access at all times via the L6551 heading north.  

Alternative route: 

• Traffic travelling on the L6551 westbound direction wishing to use the L6550 will be diverted onwards on the L6551 and then turning North onto the L2512, then turning East onto the L2504 and then turning South onto the L6549 and back on towards the L6550. 
• Traffic travelling on the L6549 or L65491 wishing to use the L6550 will be diverted North staying on the L6549 and onto the L2504 and then turning South onto the L2512 and then turning East onto the L6551 and continuing onwards back onto the L6550. 

Local traffic in the area will be accommodated as much as possible but there will no through road at Woteraghy Mill Bridge.
