Building Control

From Monday 13th July 2020, Fire Safety Cert, Disability Access Cert, Regulation fire safety cert, revised fire safety certificate, 7 day notice and Dispensation/relaxation certs should be submitted online on the Building Control Management System  BCMS Portal.

You should fully complete the application, all roles must be accepted, upload all documents and make payment through the BCMS portal.  Payment must be made by the applicant.

Commencement Notice & 7 Day notice

The purpose of a Commencement Notice is to notify the relevant building control authority that a person intends to carry out either building works or a material change of use to a building to which the Building Regulations apply.

Disability Access Certificate

You must apply for a disability access certificate for all new buildings (including apartments, but not houses), to show compliance with Part M of the Building Regulations 1997-2010.
