Emergency Road Closure – L1029 Corracomera Road

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the road described hereunder from Monday, 23rd June to Friday, 27th June 2025 and again from Monday, 30th June to Tuesday, 1st July 2025 between 8am and 6pm each dayfor the purposes of resurfacing works.

Road closed:

L-1029-0 from its junction with the R-202-0 & L-1030-0 in the townland of Muineal to its junction with the L-1025-0 & L-1026-0 in the townland of Corlough.

Alternative Route:

Westbound – From Junction L-1029-0 / R-202-0 / L-1030-0 travel northwards along the R-202-0 to Junction R-202-0 / R-200-5, then westwards along the R-200-5 to Junction R-200-5 / L-1024-0, then southwards along the L-1024-0 & L-1025-0 to Junction L-1025-0 / L-1026-0 / L-1029-0. End of detour.
Eastbound – The same alternative route in reverse will apply to eastbound traffic.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.

Local access will be accommodated where practicable.
