Road Closure - Taghart Road Reinstatement

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council intends to close to public traffic the roads described hereunder between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, from Monday, 5 December to Friday, 16 December 2022, to facilitate permanent road reinstatement to Taghart Windfarm grid connection cable route.

Each road will be closed for a duration of two to three days within the closure period.

Roads closed:

The L3524 Corlea road, from its junction with the L7555 Taghart South to its junction with the L7557 / L7556 Corlea.

Alternative routes:

From Corlea Via L7555 Lisagoan road, Via R162 to Drumiller, Via L7557 to Corlea and vice versa. From Corlea via L3524 and L7553 Taghart South, Via L3523 and R165 Collops, Via L7556 to Corlea.

Roads closed:

The L3524 Cornamagh road, from its junction with the L7557 / L7556 Corlea to its junction with the L3525 Collops.

Alternative routes:

From Cornamagh Via L7557 Drumiller road, Via R162 to Marahill, Via L7559 to Cornagee, Via L3525 to Cornamagh and vice versa. From Cornamagh Via L7556 to Collops, Via L3525 to Cornamagh and vice versa.

Local access only will be accommodated.
