Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the road described hereunder from Monday, 8 September to Friday, 19 September 2025, from 8am to 6pm each day, for the purposes of resurfacing works.

L-1008-0 from its junction with the R-207-1 & R-207-2 in the townland of Corraquigley to its junction with the L-5013-0 in the townland of Tullynafreave.
L-5013-0 from its junction with the L-1008-0 in the townland of Tullynafreave to its junction with the L-1009-0 in the townland of Tullynafreave.

Alternative Route:

Westbound – From Junction L-5013-0 / L-1009-0 travel eastwards via L-1009-0 to Junction L-1009-0 / R-206-2 / R-206-1, then southwards via R-206-1 & R-206-0 to Junction R-206-0 / R-200-3 / R-200-2 (Glangevlin), then westwards along R-200-2, R-200-1 & R-200-0 to Junction R-200-0 / R-207-2 (Dowra), then northwards along R-207-2 to Junction R-207-2 / R-207-1 / L-1008-0. End of detour.
Eastbound – The same alternative route in reverse will apply to eastbound traffic.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.

Local access will be accommodated where practicable.
