Emergency Road Closure - L-5036-0

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the road described hereunder from Thursday 02nd October 2025 to Friday 03rd October 2025, again from Monday 06th October 2025 to Friday 10th October 2025 and again from Monday 13th October 2025 to Friday 17th October 2025, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm each day for the purposes of resurfacing works.

Road closed

L-5036-0 from its junction with the R-202-0 in the townland of Cronery to its junction with the L-1035-0 in the townland of Culliagh.

Alternative Route

Eastbound – From Junction L-5036-0 / R-202-0 travel northwards along R-202-0 to Junction R-202-0 / L-1035-0, then eastwards and southwards along L-1035-0 to Junction L-1035-0 / L-5036-0. End of detour.
Westbound – The same alternative route in reverse will apply to westbound traffic.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.

Local access will be accommodated where practicable.
