Emergency Road Closure – L-5042-0, Moher

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the road described hereunder from Monday 04th August 2025 to Tuesday 30th September 2025 8:00 am to 6:00 pm each day for the purposes of road repair works.

Roads closed

L-5042-0 from its junction with the N-87-3 in the townland of Moher and Mullanacre Lower to its junction with the L-1041-0 in the townland of Drumane.

Alternative Route

Southbound – From Junction L-5042-0 / N-87-3 travel east via N-87-3 to Junction L-1041, then westwards along L-1041 to Junction L-5042-0 / L-1042-0, then northwards along L-5042-0. End of detour.
Northbound – The same alternative route in reverse will apply to northbound traffic.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.
