Emergency Road Closure - L-6515-0

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the road described hereunder on Monday 7th July 2025 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm for the purposes of resurfacing works.

Road closed:

L-6515-0 Boston Road from its junction with the L-2502-0 in the townland of Moher for a distance of 2.0 Km north-eastwards.

Alternative Route:

North-eastbound – From Junction L-2502-0 / L-6515-0 travel south-eastwards along the L-2502-0 to Junction L-2502-0 / L-3026-0 / L-7005-0 (Crosskeys), then northwards along the L-7005-0, L-3000-0 & L-6517-0 to Junction L-6517-0 / L-6515-0. End of detour.
South-westbound – The same alternative route in reverse will apply to south-westbound traffic.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.

Local access will be accommodated where practicable.
