Temporary closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Roads Regulations 1994

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the road described hereunder from Wednesday 25th June 2025 to Friday 27th June 2025, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm each day for the purposes of resurfacing works.

Roads closed

L-6623-0 Fair Green Hill, Cavan from its junction with the R-901-0 Main Street and James Connolly Street to its junction with the L-6628-0 Fairview Terrace.

Alternative Route

Southbound - R-901-0 James Connolly Street to R-212-3 Dublin Road to L-6623-0 Owen Roe Terrace & Saint Brigid’s Terrace.
Northbound – L-6623-0 Saint Brigid’s Terrace & Owen Roe Terrace to R-212-3 Dublin Road

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the road closure.

Local Access for residents within the L-6623-0 Fair Green Hill only will be accommodated to and from the R-901-0 Main Street.
