Emergency Road Closure – L2505 Ballinagh to Arvagh

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council needs to close to public traffic, the road described hereunder for a period of two days, for a full closure on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th October between the hours 9.00am to 5.00pm for the purpose of emergency culvert repair.

Roads Closed

L2505 (Ballinagh – Arvagh Rd.) from its junction with the L2512 (Drumcarey Cross) to the junction with the R198 (Dobsons, Arvagh)

Alternative Route

Westbound Traffic: From Drumcarey Cross divert via L2512 to junction with L2513 (Middletown Cross), via L2513 to junction with the L2508 (Gowna) and via L2508 to junction with the R198 (Bradys Garage)

The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Local access will be accommodated where possible.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.
