Proposed Temporary Road Closure - L-2014

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council intends to close to public traffic the roads described here under on Monday 03rd November 2025 until Friday 28th November 2025 to facilitate the installation of a new Water Main in the townland of Kilnacross, Cavan.

Roads Closed

Localized section of the L-2014, in the townland of Kilnacross, from its junction with the L-2037 Drung to its junction with the R165 Drumchoe.

Alternative Routes

From Drung divert via the R-188 Cootehill, via L-2000 Drung-Cornakill, via R-165 Stradone-Cootehill.
From Stradone divert via the L-2004 Clondargan, via L-2011 Corfeehone, via L-2037 Drung,

Local access only will be accommodated.

Any objections to the above road closure should be lodged in writing with the undersigned not later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday 14th October 2025.
