Temporary Road Closure - L2514 + L7082
Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.
Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic, the roads described hereunder, for a period of 4/5 consecutive days on up to 4 separate occasions, between the dates of Monday 26th May 2025 and Friday 28th November 2025, for the purpose of road works, subject to funding.
Road to be closed:
L2514 Corduff to Middletown Cross from Middletown Cross to the junction with the L6553 at Corduff.
Alternative Route(s):
From Middletown Cross, divert via the L2515 to Killydoon, and the N55 to the junction with the L2514 at Corduff.
The same diversion route will apply in reverse.
Road to be closed:
- L7082 Kilnacrott to Barconny from the junction with the L3018 to the junction with the L7086.
Alternative Route(s):
- From Kilnacrott, divert via the L3018 and R154 to Mountnugent, and the L7087 and L7086 to the junction with the L7082 at Barconny.
The same diversion route will apply in reverse.
Local access will be accommodated where possible. Diversions, where available, will be signposted for the duration of the works.
