Water And Wastewater Bye Laws

Water and Wastewater Bye-Laws relating to the management, protection, conservation of drinking water and charges for water and wastewater were introduced in 2007.

These bye laws are to prevent the waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the public drinking water supply or permitting deleterious material to enter the wastewater system and outline penalties for same.

They also detail how charges for water and wastewater are to be levied and collected.
