Minister of State at the Department of Housing, Local Government, and Heritage, John Cummins TD visited Cavan on Wednesday where he met senior council officials for a briefing on the progress being made on social housing delivery in the county.

As summer graces Cavan, a special visitor returns once again: the Swift. These wonderful birds are a vital part of our natural heritage—but one that is increasingly under threat. Since 1998, Nationally the breeding population has declined by a staggering 69% with habitat loss for their nesting a key factor.
