Minister of State for Nature, Heritage and Biodiversity at the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Christopher O’Sullivan TD, has opened three key built heritage schemes to applications: the Built Heritage Investment Scheme (BHIS), Historic Structures Fund (HSF) and Historic Thatch Buildings (HTB) for 2027.
Refurbishment works at Ballyconnell Playground are scheduled to commence on Monday 3rd August / Tuesday 4th August. For the safety of the public, the playground will be closed for the duration of the works. The project is expected to take up to 4 weeks to complete, subject to weather conditions.
