Emergency road closure: L3026 Carrickatober, Crosskeys

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the road described hereunder for 1 day, for a full closure on Monday 7th September 2026 between the hours of 9:30am and 2pm for the purpose of surfacing works.

Roads Closed:

L3026 Carrickatober, Crosskeys (part of Ballyjamesduff to Cavan Road)

Alternative Route:

From L3026 Carrickatober, divert via L3029 to Ballyjamesduff, R194 to Killyfassey Junction, R154 through Kilnaleck to Ballinagh, N55 to Moynehall (Cavan), L6503 to Crubany, L2500 & L2502 to Crosskeys.

The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Local access will be accommodated where possible.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.
