Emergency Road Closure - L3003, Lecharry

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic, the road described hereunder on Tuesday 14th July 2026 between the hours 9:30am to 4pm for the purpose of emergency drainage works.

L3003 Lecharry to Carrickatober (part of Kilnaleck to Crosskeys Road) at Togher (Kilnaleck side of Togher Cross)

Alternative Route

From Rockfield junction, divert via L3004 & L3016 (Rassan Road) to Ballyjamesduff, L3029 and L3026 (Ballyjamesduff to Crosskeys Road) to Carrickatober.

The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Local access will be accommodated where possible. Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.
