Temporary Road Closure, N87, Lisnamaine
Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.
Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the roads described hereunder for a period of up to five days between Monday 3rd August and Sunday 16th August between the hours of 8am and 6pm for the purpose of road resurfacing.
Roads Closed
- National Secondary Road N87 between the Townlands of Lisnamaine or Sycamore Fields and Gartaquill for the purpose of essential pavement repair works and road resurfacing.
Alternative Routes
- Traffic travelling west from the N3 Belturbet Roundabout onto the N87 Ballyconnell will be diverted to N3 Derrylin and diverted onto the B127 Ballyconnell Road.
- Traffic travelling east bound from Ballyconnell main street on the N87 will be diverted onto the R-205 (B127) Ballyconnell road to Derrylin and diverted onto the N3 Belturbet Roundabout.
Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works. Local access only will be accommodated.
