Proposed Temporary Road Closure - Main Street Ballyconnell

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

R-205-0 Main Street, Ballyconnell is proposed to be closed from its junction with the N-87-8 (Belturbet to Swanlinbar Road) to its junction with the L-50532-0 (Preaching House Lane) on the following dates and times to facilitate the Ballyconnell Weekend Festival 2026

On Saturday, 1^st August 2026 from 9am to 12 midnight
On Sunday, 2^nd August 2026 from 3pm to 12 midnight

Alternative Routes:

Via N-87-8 to its junction with the L-1063-0 (Daisy Hill Roundabout), then via L-1063-0 (Ballyconnell Relief Road) to rejoin the R-205-0 (known locally as The Border Road) and vice versa.
Access to Breffni Care Centre will be via the above alternative route.

Local access only will be accommodated where practicable.

Any objections to the above road closures should be lodged in writing with the undersigned not later than 5pm on Tuesday, 14^th July 2026.
