Proposed road closure - L7082 Kilnacrott

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council intends to close to public traffic, the roads described hereunder, for a period of 4/5 consecutive days on up to 4 separate occasions, between the dates of Monday 26th May 2025 and Friday 28th November 2025, for the purpose of road works, subject to funding.

Road proposed to be closed:

L7082 Kilnacrott to Barconny from the junction with the L3018 to the junction with the L7086.

Alternative Route(s):

From Kilnacrott, divert via the L3018 and R154 to Mountnugent, and the L7087 and L7086 to the junction with the L7082 at Barconny.
The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Local access will be accommodated where possible. Diversions, where available, will be signposted for the duration of the works.

Any objections to the above road closures should be directed in writing to the undersigned before 5pm on Friday 2nd May.
