Emergency Road Closure, L7102 Maghera Cross to Cloghergoole Cross

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic, the road described hereunder from 17th August to 2nd September 2026 between the hours 8am to 5:30pm for the purpose of emergency road resurfacing.

Roads Closed

L7102 (Maghera Cross) from its junction with the N3 (Maghera) to the junction with the R194 (Cloghergoole Cross)

Alternative Route

From Maghera divert via N3 to junction with R194 (Virginia), and via R194 to junction with the L7102 (Cloghergoole Cross)

The same diversion route will apply in reverse. Local access will be accommodated where possible.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.
