Make An Appeal

If you are not happy with a decision made by Cavan County Council to reject your request for the release of information under the Freedom Of Information Act 1997, then you are entitled to appeal this decision.

If you would like to make an appeal, please go through the following steps.

Step 1

Internal Review

Please make a request for an internal review within 20 working days of the decision in writing to:

Ireland

Step 2

Review by the Information Commissioner

If you are not happy with the decision which was made at the internal review, then you can make an appeal in writing to the Information Commissioner using the following details:
