Creative Cavan has secured €50,000 in funding under the Creative Ireland Creative Communities on a Shared Island programme for a project entitled ‘Social Fabric as Shared Ground’.

Minister of State for Nature, Heritage and Biodiversity at the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Christopher O’Sullivan TD, has opened three key built heritage schemes to applications: the Built Heritage Investment Scheme (BHIS), Historic Structures Fund (HSF) and Historic Thatch Buildings (HTB) for 2027.
Refurbishment works at Ballyconnell Playground are scheduled to commence on Monday 3rd August / Tuesday 4th August. For the safety of the public, the playground will be closed for the duration of the works. The project is expected to take up to 4 weeks to complete, subject to weather conditions.
